The Lowell Association for the Blind is pleased to announce the receipt of a grant from the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate at the beginning of 2003. The grant provided the necessary funds to update the LAB training computer and software.
The grant purchased a new Dell computer and updated software including: Duxbury, Zoomtext and JAWS in addition to a new Braille Embosser. The computer and software has been installed this summer complete with high speed internet access.
