LAB is supported by contributions from memorial donations, grants from foundations, and program funding. The office in downtown Lowell provides 4,000 sq. feet of easily accessible space for meetings, adaptive equipment training, braille lessons, and a radio/recording studio. The Lowell Association for the Blind does an outstanding job supporting the needs of both children and adults with vision loss. In addition to educational and social opportunities, LAB frequently sponsors sensory rich field trips. The knowledgeable staff is welcoming and helps the clients to live life to the fullest and as independently as possible. Twice a week, clients come from as far away as Littleton and Salem to be part of the LAB community. LAB has much to offer those with visual needs!
